Passport to Safety is a natural fit with Ontario secondary school programs

Since 1999, health and safety lessons have been imbedded in the Ontario curriculum. Since then, the Ministries of Labour, Education, and Training, Colleges and Universities, along with the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, have developed and distributed free copies of Live Safe! Work Smart! to help teachers meet safety-related learning expectations that appear in the curriculum for:

Science
Arts
Business Studies
Social Sciences and Humanities
Technological Education
Career and Guidance
Health and Physical Education
Canadian and World Studies (Grade 11 Law)
Cooperative Education

A real Ontario fit! The Passport to Safety test questions were developed in part from Live Safe! Work Smart!, Young Worker Awareness Program (YWAP) materials and Ontario's WorkSmartOntario young worker website.
