The City of Brampton
is deeply devoted to Young Worker Awareness training.
We hire over 500 students every summer and last year decided to augment their usual 5 hour in-class orientation session with the Passport to Safety Program. We first asked the students to review the HS - 101 course material from the WSIB website and then take the Passport to Safety assessment. The assessment helped us evaluate how much of the safety training they were retaining, and it was a real pleasure to see that they had no trouble passing it. Most of students enjoyed the assessment, and have gone on to include it on their resumes!
Great job Passport to Safety, and thank you for creating a fun-teen friendly way of promoting safety training! Keep it up! Geeta Sharma, Health and Safety Advisor, City of Brampton

Grimsby Power was easily sold on the Passport to Safety Program...
Grimsby Power was easily sold on the Passport to Safety Program, which acts as an excellent tool to help prevent accidents/injuries for young workers. We strongly believe that young workers need to be educated on health and safety issues to eliminate needless pain and suffering when an accident occurs. Grimsby Power wanted to take an active role in assisting our local high schools by supporting the Passport to Safety program by sponsoring this initiative. We cannot say enough about the program and challenge all employers to get behind Passport to Safety to protect the young workers and our future in the workplace. - Brian Weber, President

Overall time well spent.
Overall time well spent. The questions, were informative and have stuck in my mind for the most part. I liked the 'explanation' section that was given if you did not receive 100%, I thought that was quite helpful. – Student, University of Toronto

The option to complete this test online is great.
The option to complete this test online is great. It gave me a chance to test what I "thought" was true, and correct some false information I may have had in the past without being penalized. It's great to be able to look over my mistakes and learn from them. I highly recommend this test to others!! – Student, Ottawa

It was a good test. I had thought that I would get all the questions right because of my WHIMS and safety training at work, but I did in fact get some wrong, and learned some new tips!
