Vision
To live in a world in which young people come home healthy and safe at the end of each day.

Mission
To help eliminate needless injuries and preventable deaths of young New Zealanders aged 24 and under.

What it is and what it isn't
Passport to Safety is an innovative national youth health and safety test and transcript programme that verifies youth have a basic understanding of what they need to know to protect themselves from injury at work.

Passport to Safety does not replace job-specific health and safety training that is required of all employers under New Zealand legislation. All employers are still required to provide the training necessary for each worker to be able to perform their job safely.
